However, i promise that more people will stop to talk to you when you're astride a Triumph. I look forward to the video.LumpyCamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06931054542544284856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4174652034271824508.post-7144177935979548182010-03-05T21:18:23.986-08:002010-03-05T21:18:23.986-08:00Hi Dave ~ Thanks for the very kind comments. You have plans to ride Canada this July? That's awesome! It can only be good, and don't listen to the people that say the prairies are boring - it's one my favourite rides as the sky opens up around you. Let us know if you have some words or pictures as the trip proceeds. that will surely cheer us up as the daily commute remains the only escape of the day.LumpyCamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06931054542544284856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4174652034271824508.post-83431808360461638042010-03-05T08:02:04.981-08:002010-03-05T08:02:04.981-08:00Dan:

Right now there are two of us, the other on a BMW K75 riding down from PA.
Thanks for your video comment. If I am ever behind you, then you will be my subject. I have been doing riding videos for a couple of years now check out my Youtube channel, link on sidebar for a couple taken last year in Kelowna area

bob
bobskoot: wet coast scootinAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05258612401956399482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4174652034271824508.post-77355403015144638302010-03-04T20:47:20.208-08:002010-03-04T20:47:20.208-08:00Bob - Every once in a while I follow this Triumph ...Bob - Every once in a while I follow this Triumph around. For the record, if anyone is looking for an awesome bike for a great price pick yourself up a Triumph Bonneville. They are sweet do-all machines. Everyone wants to stop and talk to SM on it; no one ever wants to talk to a BMW rider.

This shot was actually taken on a weekend ride, part of the Fields of Baker jaunt. While I do ride (almost) daily, the pics aren't always chronological. There's a bit of artistic license (or disregard).

Your video work is pretty cool! Someday i may experiment with same. Pics seem faster to edit for now.LumpyCamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06931054542544284856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4174652034271824508.post-41027751556096121482010-03-04T17:25:50.078-08:002010-03-04T17:25:50.078-08:00(Name changed from OGB)
Yet more superb photos Da...(Name changed from OGB)

Yet more superb photos Dan. Loving this one with the Triumph, it has a real air of melancholy about it

I visit here frequently and always look forward to seeing your latest shots. My daughter tells me that Vancouver was horrendous during the 'games. Her tales of the disruption to the city made the photographs of your escapes all the more poignant.

Signs of winter drawing to a close are now appearing here in the UK, we've had a few beautiful dry sunny (but still cold) Spring-like days. Still time for more snow here though, our weather does lead us into a false sense of security sometimes. I've managed two days of riding this week as the Harley was brought back to life after the winter overhaul.

The plans for our trip over to B.C & Alberta to "Ride Canada" are pretty much complete. Flights, hotels, bike hire and route are now all sorted - July can't come quick enough.

Keep up the good work on the blog - it always cheers me up

Regards from England
DaveBobDarleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09067816653560243305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4174652034271824508.post-66618965146391913302010-03-04T15:35:23.181-08:002010-03-04T15:35:23.181-08:00Dan:

Nice Triumph.
Wish we could go for a ride instead of having to wait for the weekend, you are so lucky
I was wondering if you heard my engine last week. I was testing my new camera and revved a few times as I approached Blenheim and 41st avenue (from UBC). Near the spot you took that picture recently

bob
bobskoot: wet coast scootinAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05258612401956399482noreply@blogger.com
