Straight rise
One of the fun parts of exploring familiar territory is discovering how many unexpected roads there actually are. I'm constantly amazed by the geology and civic planning I was previously ignorant to. For example, diving into a mountain range, ready to do battle with curves, only to discover kilometers of straights. Add in some dry tundra when you're expecting rainforest and it makes for a fun change. The unexpected is the blessing and curse of adventure.

Curious. I am an avid explorer of the area. Kindly tell me, where are you headed?
Hi Sonja - I think this spot is the first part of Duffey Lake Road heading west out of Lillooet. About HERE.
