A common theme amongst all motor sport (and pedal!) enthusiasts is a fascination with tires. Only engine oil rivals them for making and breaking bonds of trust and friendship. Secret pacts and allegiances are made to geometric patterns born of rubber mold. How big? How small? How far? How fast? I just got a new set. A small part of my soul is now invested into this particular pattern and compound. I am assured by the tribe it is not too big, nor too small, and goes fast and far. We may still associate if you have an alternative, but I will quietly judge you while we are diving into the corners. [And please read that as a joke.]
