Pink attack

Riding home tonight I was greeted by row upon row of blossoms. So many, so early, i'm afraid there'll still be some frosts to kill them. But for now it's that wonderful spring when it is warm enough to take off the heated vest, but not so warm that the bugs are out forcing the helmet visor down. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Another wonderful pic. Can't wait to get there...
Cheers from a soon-to-be-Vancouverite (Vancouverian?, Vancouverette?)

Really? To visit or permanent? It's a great riding town, at least when you aren't stuck in traffic, or rain, or a bridge is closed, or it's dark, or there's deer on the road... he he he.

Permanently indeed. Everything will be better than snow and cold from October to Mai. Oh, and besides deer, elk, moose, coyotes or the occasional bear on the road, always watch out for the Albertan cagers. I have never been confronted with a more negligent crowd of drivers before.

Last year we had snow on March 29th ... I posted a photo on my blog of cherry blossoms in the falling snow. I'm crossing my fingers, too, that this unusual early spring (in winter) weather doesn't stub its toe and freeze these early buds and flowers.
