Perfect pair

Maybe they are a bit of an odd couple but I always think the Vespa and BMW make a nice pair. There's the big black 1170cc Bavarian monster and the sleek svelte 50cc Italian. Riding along (and with no input from the riders) the BMW dotes over the Vespa, passing then falling behind - always a watchful eye for hazards and admiring the delicate silhouette in the sun. Today they both get a wash. The BMW is darker than ever as the black finish makes a siren call to jump on and ride into the unknown. The Vespa's cheery yellow reflects back and somehow makes everything around it seem that much brighter. The day too.
